My Boy can finish 16 pieces puzzle

In previous post, I mentioned about my boy likes to play puzzle and manage to complete 16 pieces puzzle after we taught him for a few times. After that, I started to bring out those puzzles I bought before for him to play.

No matter how active this little cheeky is, when the time playing with puzzle, he will sit quietly, focusing on those puzzles and put in all the pieces together.

Herewith one of the puzzle my sister bought for my boy. After we played together with him for a few times, he managed to complete the whole puzzle all by himself.


After 16 pieces puzzles, what is next? 24 pieces? But I can't find any 24 pieces puzzles in the market now? Where to buy?

My Second Prince - Isaac

Finally, I am back in blogging. I was in Maternity for the past 2 months. Sorry for waiting, especially those who are waiting to see my second prince. Ya, my second prince! This was how he looked like on his 3rd day, the first day he back home.

Isaac
Weight: 3.78kg
Length: 53cm
I know you will open your mouth like a big O when I said my second boy was normal delivery without any pain relief and he was 3.78kg in weight. Haha... Almost have the same response when my families and friends asked me how heavy he was! ^_^

How was the delivery process? Hahaha...

I am so glad that I delivered him in less than 2 hours. Hmmm... Maybe I should said that I felt period-like cramps for one hour, following by severe contraction for the next 45 minutes and my second boy was born in my second pushed. Fast huh?

But the 45 minutes really killing me! I felt the baby was coming out, but the midwife was telling me yet to push, just breath in and out, don't push! If you asked me how long was the contraction apart? I remember it was merely 30 to 45 second apart! YES, merely 30 - 45 second, not even 1 minute!

When the Gynae came to the labour room after 45 minutes, checked, confirmed was 10cm dilated, confirmed I can pushed. Then, my boy was out in second pushed and the nurse yet to hang up my leg beside before my boy was out. I was so relieved & felt my tummy was flat & my back pain was gone!

My Gynae didn't put my second baby on my tummy once he was out, which was different from my first delivery, where I could see Bryan once he was out and took a lot of photos and video for him. So, no photo taken for my second baby after delivery.

Puzzle

Last week, after meal, I was resting on the sofa, while my boy took out the puzzle and started to play by himself. He took out the puzzle from the cupboard, pulled his blue chair to the coffee table and started to put back all the puzzle in place.

I didn't bother of him at all as I know he will ask me for help if he can't find the correct piece of puzzle. Surprisingly, my boy managed to place in the puzzle all by himself! Then, he said "yeah....finish!" and started to named all the object on the puzzle as he used to. This is a great growing milestone for him!

Before he started to walk, we put the floor mat in our living room for him to play around. During that time, he had the interest to pull out the shape & alphabet from the floor mat and put them back. I think that was the time he started to get interested playing with puzzle.


I won't not categorise my boy as a "quiet" type. But when come to the time with puzzle, he is able to sit quietly, choose the pieces of puzzle and trying to match each other. I am looking for more puzzle for my little boy from now onwards. Anyone has any recommendations?

My Boy: Aunty & Uncle.
Daddy   : Where Aunty & Uncle bought it?
My Boy: Mall.
Daddy   : Which mall?
My Boy: Shopping mall.
Daddy   : Which shopping mall?
My Boy:  TESCO! Bryan pay money!
Daddy   : Bryan got money???
My Boy: Bryan take money (from) uncle pocket.

28, 29, twenty TEN!

I think most of the parents came across this situation where their kids start counting.....

1, 2, 3, 4.... 28, 29, twenty ten!

Last night, when I was chit-chating with my boy, sing along with my boy (this is our routine before he sleeps), he stood up and started to count the wheels on the train of the wall sticker. I did blog about my boy is able to count by himself from 1-20 in my previous post. The number of wheels are up to 18 only. After he counted till 18, he said "18 wheels".

Then he laid down beside me, continued to count, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, twenty TEN!

This was the first time I heard him counting more than 20 and I can't stop laughing when he said "Twenty TEN!" This cheeky laugh together with me and I teach him the correct way should be "Thirty" But this cheeky fella felt funny and kept saying "Twenty TEN!" instead.

Baa Baa Black Sheep...

When I was dressing up in my room to get ready for work yesterday morning... I heard my boy was talking to himself in his room! Slowly & quietly I walked to his room and tried to listen on his speech or see which soft toys he was talking to. Surprisingly, I heard this.....

Baa Baa Black Sheep,
lala lala la....
Yes Sir, Yes Sir,
3 bags full.
1 lala lala...
1 lala la....
1 lala lala lala la....

My little boy was singing "Baa Baa Black Sheep" Although the tone was out, but I can clearly heard he saying singing those lyrics.

A month back I bought a kid's songs VCD home, I just played for him twice. As we seldom watch TV at home. These few weeks, he keeps asking me to sing a few songs for him too, eg. the wheel on the bus, shapes, ABC, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star....

This is another milestone for my little boy, since the first time I heard him sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with the last word only. Besides, he sings ABC songs too, but all the tone are out. Hahaha... But at least he can sing A-Z clearly with the hand sign.

My 2 years old BOY...

I think it's time to summarize my boy's growth and development now, if not... I am sure how long I will drag... Hahaha...

My boy is independent and has his own personality.
  • He will say "NO" for anything he don't want and vice versa.
  • He is very particular on his pillow arrangement, must be in a CORRECT position, whereby the cartoon on his pillow case is not up side down.
  • He must use straw to drink juice and yogurt drink.
  • He must reads book during pooping time. If his story book is not with him, a magazine will do as well.
  • He must hug a soft toy when dancing or rocking along with the song we sang.
  • He title himself as a "MAN" when he needs my help, he will say "girls help man" =.=|||
  • He loves to laugh, watch here.
  • He must sniff on the Berries flavour Protein, which I added in his milk.
  • He freaky clean little boy can't see his hands, fingers, toes, leg or mouth being a dirt on it.

My boy almost doing everything for himself in life.
  • He insists wanna brush his teeth by himself although not really brush correctly.
  • He takes shower by himself, I will help to clean up with the leftover bubbles on his back.
  • He eats by himself a few months back, but now the lazy boy will say "mommy help"
  • He puts on & takes off his shoes all by himself since 18 months.
  • He takes potty to the "poop corner" every time he does his big business.
  • He takes off his pants by himself.
  • He will automatically put his dirty clothes in the laundry basket.
  • He will takes his pyjamas by himself after shower.
  • He spreads the butter on the bread by himself during weekend breakfast time.
  • He will automatically put his milk bottle inside the sink after finishing, except for napping and sleeping time.
  • He knows how to operate our DVD player by turning on whatever CD / DVD he want to watch.

My boy is a GOOD HELPER since 14 months as he helps me to do a lot a lot of house chores.
  • He helps to do the laundry.
  • He helps to clean, sweep and mop the floor.
  • He helps to wash bathroom everytime he finished painting.
  • He takes my shoes for me every morning when we are leaving our house to BB sitter's house
  • He helps me to open the lock of our gate.
  • He helps me to push his stroller and pretend baby is sleeping inside the stroller.
  • He helps to clean his bath tub everytime finished bathing.
  • He helps to remind me to "GO" when the traffic lights turn green and "STOP" when it is red.

My boy's growth development and learning status.
  • He is about 12kg in weight and about 89cm in height.
  • He will greet "Bye bye ..." and "Good night ..." but "Good morning mommy" to me only.
  • He likes to read books, no matter of his own story books, our magazine or even my pocket note book. He will request us to read for him whatever written in the book and tell him the story.
  • He likes to count. He can count from 1 to 20 all by himself. He counts everything he sees, the wheel on the car, the stars on the wall sticker, the bees on the wall sticker, the lamp post, the dolphin in the pool etc...
  • He knows a lot of single words, like dog, cat, fish, ant, apple, ball, book, bug, egg, frog, sock, pie etc... By merely seeing the "DOG" he knows it is dog without the picture of it.
  • Whatever new things to him, he will say "THIS ONE"
  • He knows how to relate all the alphabet, from A to Z. For example, A - apple, B - ball....
  • His speech development boost in his 20 months, he will follow whatever we say and learn the pronounciation by repeating the words.
  • He knows colours by 18 months, now he even can "tell" all the colours (black, brown, dark green, light green, purple, dark blue, light blue, red, pink, orange, yellow, grey, white, beige)
  • He knows shape by 17 months (square, triangle, circle, star and heart) (read this). Just realised that he knows cross, oval as well recently.
  • He knows how to relate "Joey's mommy is poh poh", "Joey's Papa is gong gong"... watch the video below.
  • He knows how to match the same objects, no matter it is a shapes, alphabet, or any objects (eg. animals).

These are the main 4 categories I can summarize and remember by now. He will surprise me everyday with the some new words unexpectedly.

My Boy & My Baby

This week, my boy is 25 months & my baby is 32 weeks... *grin*

Was planning to post this a few months back, but... drag till today... ^_^ hahaha...

Over all I can say my boy love my BB very much! My boy kisses, hugs and "sayang" my BB whenever I lift up my shirt to show him my BIG belly.

He will say:
"Mommy, Bryan touch BB, okay?"
"Bryan kiss BB"
"Bryan hug hug BB"
"Mommy, BB moving! BB kick Mama!"
"BB guai... BB guai (cantonese)"
My boy is so lovely

Since the day I realised that I am pregnant, I started to tell my boy about this good news and I cannot carry him anymore as I am carrying a BB inside mommy tummy. My boy is okay with this and won't ask me to carry him anymore.
Yet he will forget once a while, just after a few second, he will remind himself again, "Bryan walks can, Papa bao (carry) can, Mama bao - cannot, mama belly BIG BIG" ^0^

My boy starts to be more independent after I am pregnant. He is not only doing his own stuff but help me more and more with the house work.

My boy help me to bring in clothes back to his room and my room before I pregnant. Now, he even help me to fold his own handkerchief, bring in clothes, hang clothes in his closet as well. Although the outcome is not perfect for me, as long as long he willing to help out his preggy mommy, I am so happy with his effort.

Its been a habit for me to take a shower for my boy before he goes to the bed every night. Its been a habit for my boy to put his dirty clothes in the laundry basket since 14 months. So, no worries on this.
Now, he will automatically take off his pants by himself as well. But the shirt, still need us to help him up.

He knew how to wipe clean himself after bathing since 18months, so I have no worries on this as well. I can forsee that I can't take shower for him soon, especially during my confinement month. So I let him to take shower by himself and I guide him through by sitting on the toilet bowl.
 I am so glad to announce that my boy able to take shower all by himself in 20 months and he does it perfectly! From washing his body, arms, tummy, legs, toes, hair to face. But one thing He still need my help is brushing his teeth.

Meal Time. I can't carry him up to his high chair for meal. So I put a chair beside his high chair and he will climb up himself. I know that this is quite dangerous for him to do it by himself. I have told my boy to do it only with mommy beside you. I observed him so far, if I am not beside him, he will sit on the chair and talk to himself "cannot climb, wait mama, hold mama hands" hehehe...

But... My boy very lazy to eat by himself now. He used to eat by himself but now... he will say "Mommy help please..... Mommy feed Bryan please...."

Laundry. He will automatically do the laundry for his clothes if he sees us do it. Below is the video clip I recorded while he was busying putting in all his dirty clothes into the washing machine. Haha... He is really my good helper.



I really glad that he becomes more independent after I am pregnant. Hope he can help me even more when BB comes to this world. & Hope he will be a good brother as well. ^_^

My "MAN"... was so Funny!

I have a post a few months back regarding my little boy told me that "He is a MAN" Whenever we ask him "are you a boy or girl" sure this little cheeky will answer "MAN" ^0^
 
& My "MAN" was so funny yesterday!

When we were walking from the car park back to our unit in our apartment, a security guard passed by and said: "Hi... Boy boy!"

"NO... Bryan MAN! no boy!"

The security guard and I can't stop laughing at him! Hahahahaha............

Speech Development

Been some months I didn't update my boy growth development, sorry sorry... very busy with work, I am the only one in my department, what to do??? aih... Forget about this... Okay... back to this, my boy's speech development.

His speech developement boost during his 20 months. Basically, he can tell everythings he needs in daily basis since 1 years old. But why I said that his speech development boost in 20 months????

Hahaha... As he is not only telling me what he wants or what he needs, but he can tell me stories about what had happened in BB sitter's house, how it was happening, who did it and where they did it.

I love the way he says "CAN NOT" very cute! and surprising me that he knows "BOTH"! Haha...
I can't remember much, herewith some in my mind....

Situation: I was lying on my bed, lazied to wake up on the weekend morning. My boy, who had awaken, playing by himself. He came to my room with a net on his hand.

My Boy: Net... Mama... Net... catch fish...
Mommy: Where you catch fish? (blur blur....)

My Boy: Auntie's house... Fish die die... Bryan catch fish....
Mommy: Why the fish will die?
My Boy: Bryan SCARED (the) fish... (with action) fish die...

Situation: My boy was jumping on the bed after shower.

Mommy: Stop jumpping on the bed! (in high tone)
My Boy: Gogo (BB sitter's son) jump, Bryan jump... Auntie come, Auntie beat gogo....

Situation: My husband changed all the bed sheet. My boy, who has a good observation found out the changes.
My Boy: Papa change Bryan bed sheet.... change dolphin bed sheet.... Papa change "BOTH" (he means his own bed sheet, and the mattress on the floor, in case he fall from his single bed)
            Then he went to my bed room.
My Boy: Papa change mama bed sheet also.... brown bed sheet.... Papa change all....

Situation: His favourite soft toy - The Dog washed in the waching machine, he was looking for it.

My Boy: Dog where?
Papa: Dog dirty, washed.
My Boy: Okay... Puppy also can... Puppy where?
Papa: Puppy also dirty, washed. Frog can?
My Boy: Okay... Frog also can...

Situation: I fetched him after working from BB sitter's house. While I was driving off, Auntie hold Uncle's hands.

My Boy: NO... Auntie hold Uncle hand, "CAN NOT"

Mommy: Why???
My Boy: Mama hold Auntie hand, CAN. Bryan hold Uncle hand, CAN. Auntie hold Uncle hand, "CAN NOT"

Situation: It was time to go to bed and I will request my boy to say goodnight and kiss goodnight with his papa.

My Boy: Good night, Papa.
Mommy: Kiss papa goodnight.
My Boy: NO... Mama kiss papa goodnight. Papa kiss Bryan, "CAN NOT"

Situation: My boy very particular, every night I must be the one who prepare the milk for him. I started to talk to him that during my confinement, daddy has to prepare milk for him. Then, he started to accept his daddy prepare milk for him. One night, he drank 3oz of milk instead of 9oz.

Mommy: Why you haven't finish the milk, finish the milk please...
My Boy: NO... Mama... not nice... Papa prepare milk not nice...

Situation: I fetched my boy after worked and BB sitter's dog, Snoopy kept barking at me.

Mommy: Snoopy always bark at mommy, sien... Snoopy got bark at you?
My Boy: NOPE. Snoopy bark (at) mama...
Mommy: Snoopy got bite you or not?
My Boy: NOPE. Snoopy bite Auntie shoes.
Mommy: Then, Auntie got beat Snoopy or not.
My Boy: NO. Uncle beat Snoopy. 
Mommy: How Uncle beat Snoopy.
My Boy: Uncle take stick... beat Snoopy...

New Pyjamas

This is the new pyjamas I bought for my boy during his first time to night market last week. Nice? hehehe... I personally like this kinda pyjamas, as it recall my childhood memories!

His face was stunned at the picture above hur? Haha... Photo taken by my hubby, while I was bathing. My hubby told him "don't move" That's why he was stunned there. ^o^

After the snap, this cheeky ran towards my hubby to look at the picture! Herewith the picture...
I think he was not satisfied with his picture and he wanna posed with his doggy, so this little cheeky went to open his toys box to take out his doggy. Posed holding with his doggy and let my hubby snap, snap & snap. Hahaha....
Add on with one more picture of my boy in the carseat, on the way heading to baby sitter's house the next day. I used my mobile to snap this photo without his noticed, as he was enjoying  his biscuit. It was a sunny and dazzling morning, this boy definately will put on his sun glasses!

My boy's Bao Bei

It was around 6am in the morning... and... I heard this...

"mommy... mommy... mommy... help!" 

My boy will call me mommy instead of mama when he needs help from me or wanna "deh" (爹) - cantonese. ^_^

I jumped up from my bed and wondering what had happened to my boy early in the morning, and ask for my help?!?!

"mommy... Baobao where??? Baobao where??? Mommy find baobao... plssssssssss"

Hahahahahaha.......... My little boy awaken early in the morning, came down from his single bed, walked from his bedroom to my room IN DARK! Yes, very dark! Because he couldn't find his baobao! I can't see clearly that time, blur blur, just woke up mah, some more so DARK. But I can't stop myself laughing at my little boy...

Then, my boy hold my hand and lead me to his room and request me to look for his baobao for him. Hahahaha.... ^o^

After I passed him the baobao, he request to drink milk and wanna sleep in my bed with me. Sure I allowed him to do so lar... After finishing his milk, he was fall asleep again.

I can't really sleep after awaken, just kept looking at my little boy sleep. I realise that he really a happy boy. Just the time he has asleep, I can see he was grinning. After a while, he smile again. Ya, this will be one of my habit after he is born, I like to see him sleeping. This is a sweet moment for me to look at his chubby face while sleeping.

Mmmm... Durian!!!

I LOVE Durian very much! Especially those white color, bitter & with liquor flavour durian! I can't resist to buy them home to eat even I am pregnant now! Muahahaha....

A few days back, BB sitter gave me some durians when I fetched my boy after worked. I can't wait for my hubby back home to open it and I tried with my clumsy preggy body. Before cut off the durian, I snapped some photo with one of the durian and my boy.

This was my boy trying to touch durian, and this little boy will kept reminding himself "poke finger, B careful" ^o^


Then he was trying to smell the durian.

Then he kept away from the durian due to the smell. In fact, this was not the first time my boy came across "durian". He doesn't like to eat and say durian is "smelly". When we ask him to eat, he will say "don't want, Mama eat... Mama eat"  ^o^

When I got ready to cut open the durian in the kitchen, my *SWEET* little boy took the small stool for me and said "Mama cannot sit (on the) floor, sit stool... Mama sit down" hehehe.... My boy so caring and  SWEET^.^

After that, he ran to the living room again, back to kitchen with his chair and sat beside to see how mommy going to cut open the durian. 

Deng Deng Deng Deng..... Here there are! Mmmm.... Yummy Yummy.... Thanks Uncle & Aunty!

Mommy Worries

I am glad that my boy has a good manners, on the other hand, I am worry about him of being bully by other kids.

WHY I SAID SO???

My boy was food allergy last weekend and we were in Hospital to get some medicine from the doctor. Quite a numbers of patients on Sunday, we waited for more than an hour before our turn. While we were waiting for our turn, my boy was playing with some toys and the slide.

I used to complaint about the rudeness of my boy when playing with his toys. But at the moment I saw him playing with others toddlers / kids, I realised that he is the most gentle one.

First, he will asked my permission to play. Then as usual, he will take a stool to sit down and play and take another stool for me to sit beside him. There was not enough stools for the toddlers there, so I told my boy to give the stool to other toddlers, and he did so. He played the toys in front of him and will not disturb others. He will stared at the toys if he was interested on the toys other toddlers were playing, he dare not to grab it from others. BUT... others did that to him and he felt so surprise on the toddler's attitude. Luckily I am able to distract him from the toys.

Slide. Whenever we go to playground, I will keep remind my boy about "follow the Q", "wait" & "take turn". He will follow the Q, wait for his turn to slide down. This little boy will kept saying "Bryan wait" & "Bryan takes turn". Same incident happened, where not all the kids in good manners, they cut the Q, push other toddlers etc... My poor boy just stood behind and wait for his turn. In fact, not much chances for him to slide unless no one was at the slide. Then only my boy said "hah, Bryan turn. Up... Up... Up... Sit down... slideeeeee"

I won't blame or angry at other toddlers who were not having good manners, they need to be educate. As a parent, you should advice your toddlers, even kids not to do so and so to younger toddler! But, the parents just sit there seems to be nothing happen??? I didn't know that they are the parents, till they called their kids when it was their turn to see Dr!

Even my 2 years old little boy knows what he should do and what he shouldn't do. There was a little girl about 15 months, my boy will gave his turn to the little girl and hold the little girl hands when she climbing up the steps. When the girl fell down, my boy will "sayang" her as well. How about your 6 years old (I guess) pre-schooler? Not saying to help others, but not hurting younger toddlers will helps a lot. As a parents, the father was focusing on the laptop and the mother was focusing on the phone. I think your kids need you more than those devices!

On the other hand, I am worry about my boy if he enroll to kindergarden soon. Before I have a baby, I planned to send my boy to kindergarden at 3 years old. As everyone doing so in Penang and blame that the kids can't follow up with the sllabus if you send them in at 4 years old. I knew some parents even send their toddlers to school at 1.5 years old!

Yet, after Bryan 18 months, I decided to teach him all by myself and only send him in after 3.5 years old. Will see how in future. As I feel that he learns quite fast and he can concentrate well on the new things we teach him. For instance, my 2 years old boy knew A to Z & 1 to 14 by 20 months. The vocabulary that he understood is more than what we expect too.


I will be glad if any bloggers/readers can provide me some of the teaching tools for 3 years old here. OR do you know what the kindergarden teach those 3 years old toddlers? 

So that I can do it at home with my boy without sending him to the kindergarden before 3.5 / 4 years old.

Dinner Last Night

This was my dinner last night. I left office on time, fetched my little boy from BB sitter's house and reached home before 715pm.

I told my boy that "mommy needs to cook dinner, play with your toys while waiting for dinner." This little boy insist wanna read his book by sitting on his high chair waiting for me. So I just let him sat on the high chair waiting for me, whilst he was reading his book. Frankly speaking, I tried to listen what he was reading, but can't really understand. ~.~

The above spaghetti was for me and I special made a bowl of Alphabet pasta for my little boy and he finished all as the picture below. This is not the first time I cook pasta for my boy, he likes it and keep saying good after each feed. Hahaha...
 Maybe he took too much for dinner, he can't finish his milk before he sleep, he just drank 7oz instead of 9oz. I was smart too, I prepared 8oz instead of 9oz of milk, just wasted 1oz. :p... Luckily he is not like a gold fish, eat whatever you feed them. Whenever he is full, he will reject. 

First Trip to Bukit Merah

During my long holiday 2 weeks ago, we spent half day at Bukit Merah. Initially I was planning to go Taiping Zoo. Pusposely to show my little boy all those real animals he saw in the book and TV. But, Taiping seems to be quite far from Penang compare to Bukit Merah. So we decided to choose the shortest distance from Penang - Bukit Merah.

Herewith the photo before we depart. The night before, we went to Giant to buy this cap and a sunblock for my little boy. Ya, I have concern on sun burn on my boy.

It was a rainy day in Penang but sunny in Bukit Merah. I cooked Alfredo pasta and keep in a flask for my boy as his lunch. As I don't think there are any food suitable for my boy at Bukit Merah. I made a good decision making, the food there are... Errr... not suitable for us.

After having our lunch, we walked along the lake side. My little boy was so happy running around and laugh happily. This was the first time my little boy came across - Lake and he said "sea" instead. After some explaination to him, he changed to "LAKE". Whenever he saw his photo now, he said he wanna go to the lake again. ^_^

This was the only photo of mine uploaded in Facebook after pregnant. I thought my belly is not obvious??? Can see that I am pregnant now??? ^o^

I sweat a lot while we were walking along the lake side, then we heading to the ticket center to buy ticket for water park. We saw this height measurement at the entrance. It was mentioned that FOC for height below 90cm. Just realise that my little boy is almost 90cm in height now. ^_^
We didn't play on the slide, as my boy is too small and my condition is not allowed. Therefore, we just play water at the kiddy zone and the big pool with wave. My boy like to play at the big pool. Was trying to let my little boy step on the sandy beaches, but this felly kept asking me to "mart" (clean in cantonese) his feet. He doesn't like the sand stick on his feet. What a clean freak little boy. Hahahaha...

We left Bukit Merah around 4pm and my tired boy was fast asleep on my lap all the way back to Penang.

Date with Papa

After I post Our Dating in my blog, my hubby drove my boy out for shopping at Giant one week after that. Hahaha....

This was the first time as well! I am not sure how smooth it was. Anyway, my boy came back happily with a bottle of Passion Fruit Juice in his hands. My hubby said he likes it so much and request to drink 3 cups of sample from the promoter by saying "please". Hahaha...

Hope he can get more closer with his daddy nowadays as I can't bath for him, send him to bb sitter's house, wee & poo for him.... during my coming confinement month.

Daily Routine - After Meal

This is one of my little boy daily routine after finishing his meal - Clean the floor. Some time I will give him the green light to have meal all by himself, and I have expected a mess on the floor and his clothes. As long as he is enjoy eating by himself.

I will clean the floor every time finishing the meal. Since my little boy starts to be my Good Helper on his 14 months, he will volunteer to help me on some of the house chores. Definately I will not stop him from helping me, but teach him what should he does instead.

Slowly, after a few months, some of the chores has become his responsibility now. I really appreciate for his help even though I need to do it again some time, ya some time and I do not mind. Hahaha...

Back to work after a long holiday

I was having 5 days off continuously, as last Sunday was BB sitter's daughter's Big Day, I took off day to take care my boy in order for BB sitter had time for the wedding preparation.

Today is the first day back to work.... Tired... Why? Slept at 3am last night. Slept late not because of taking care of my boy, he dozed off early and slept soundly till morning!

Then why 3am??? Bad habit is back - Lazy to sleep! My friend really amused that I have this kinda bad habit. I don't understand as well. I just felt sleeping is wasting time, crazy me!  >.<

Wondering what I did till 3am? hahahaha... I think you will slap me after I disclose. I was playing SUDOKU! kekekeke.... really crazy me!

I was damn sleepy and tired now! Keep yawning. Regret of sleeping late last night. I know you will say me "dei sei"
Haiiii....... Office can't Facebook and Youtube make me more sleepy.... What can I do??? Later in the afternoon need to visit customer! Must take a nap during lunch hour! kakaka...

He is a MAN

 My parents, sisters and niece will come over to my house for a weekend once in a while. Sometime I will cook for them, then have some fun in the swimming pool in the evening and out for dinner.


A few months back, they came to my house as usual. My little boy who love his "jie jie" (my niece) so much will keep following her, where ever she was, even to the toilet. That was the first time my boy realised that "jie jie" is sitting on the toilet bowl to wee, while he is standing to wee. I took this opportunity to explain to my little boy about boys and girls, and the different about boys and girls.

This little boy seems to be understood what I explained to him and will tell me that the different between boys and girls.

Last week..... Something was said from my little boy, which made me unbelievable! I can't recall what was our conversation initially. When I ask him....

Mommy: Are you a boy or girl?
My boy: MAN! (answer me straight away in no hesitate)

Mommy: huh? (shocked with his answer)
Mommy: Are you a boy or girl? (To double confirm the answer from him)
My boy: MAN!

Mommy: ^o^ Hahaha... Who teach you to say that?
My boy: NO! (he means no one) and laugh ckeekily

Ya... My little boy no longer little boy but MAN. ^o^

My boy with his new sun glasses

Yesterday I updated a post regarding my boy First Time to Night Market and mentioned that I bought a sun glasses for him. Then my boy insist wanna put on his new sun glasses at home yesterday evening after back from baby sitter's house.

This little vainpot definately will requested to take photo for me and carried him to look at the mirror.Herewith the some of the photo taken yesterday for my little vainpot.
This little cheeky won't allow me to snap photo for him. But if we dress him up, sure he will pose, smile and let me snap for him. Then he will come to me to look at the photo. If not satisfy, he will pose again. ~.~
He was not only enjoy looking at himself but kissed himself at the mirror! ~.~

My boy asked me "When?"

My hubby bought a new electronic stuff recently and the delivery man was failed to find our apartment yesterday. After providing 15 minutes of direction, my hubby finally decide to wait for the delivery man some where nearby our apartment and collect from him.

That was the time my little boy having some fun with my hubby and request to follow his daddy, and put on his shoes by himself walking towards to the gate. Whereby my hubby was out of the house while my boy busied putting on his shoes.

Here comes the time I need to explain to him why he could not follow and stayed at home to wait for his daddy back soon. My boy is very "qiong hey" (long gas) kept on asking the same thing and I kept on repeating the same answer. He insisted asking me eventhough he knew how to repeat my answer. Finally....

Mommy: Why don't we go to take shower now, when we are done, Papa will back with the new stuff?
My Boy: WHEN???
        (I laughed as it was the first time I heard my boy asking me "WHEN"???)
Mommy: After we take shower loh.
My Boy: When???
       (I really have to think of a solid answer for him, if not, this fella will keep on asking without taking off his shoes)
Mommy: After half an hour, papa will back and show you the new stuff. okay?
My Boy: Okay! (After looking at the clock on the wall)

He took off his shoes and walked toward the bathroom, took off his pants and ready for shower! ~.~

Wondering is he really understood what I mean to him??? Maybe.....
I can say my boy is quite an understanding toddler, whatever we not allow him to do, we need not to shout or scold him but explain to him. He will obey. Hope he can be my obedient boy ever.

He learnt a lesson from the fell

My boy had a big fell last Monday. He is a careful person, but what does it mean? When he walks, he walks carefully looking at the floor, he will not step on the floor with water (unless purposely wanna play with water), he will not step on the floor with any rubbish/dry leaf. He likes to hop and run recently, if accidentally he fell, he will not knocked his head as well as he will quickly uses his hands to avoid his big head fell down to the ground.

But.... Last Monday, was the first time his whole body fell to the ground unexpectedly and knocked his forehead with a bruise. The incident happened after he took his shower. With his naked body, my little boy was so excited and ran to his room to get his pajamas. He was waiting for me to turn on the lights for him in order for him to choose his pajamas. But I was busy doing other stuffs. Then he ran, ya ran very fast to his daddy and hugged his daddy, who was walking towards our master bedroom. His daddy did not want to play with him, so just gave way to him. Well, this little fella ran and wanna utilized the full force to bump on his daddy fell to the ground with "Bang!"

When I saw my boy, I can see blood on his lips and his forehead was red! Quickly apply an ice-pack on his forehead, then only my boy started to cried out loudly. Luckily that fell did not hurt his tongue, I think the blood was from the teeth as his face was facing the ground when he fell. But the nose was a bit bruise as well.

He was not crying crazily all long but sobbed non-stop. But I could really see the painful from my boy. He kept holding my hands and wanted me to pat on his head. This is the way my boy felt secure when he is hurt. By me touching or patting his head, he felt he was being care and love by his mommy.

With his naked body, I hugged him for quite some time, patted his head, kept on saying "mama sek" (in cantonese).

The next day, I was worry about him so I pay a visit to baby sitter's house during lunch hour and snapped the photo above while he was sleeping. The bruise not so clear huh? But my heart still pain looking at him.

This little boy also learnt a good lesson from this as well. He will tell story about how he fell, if anyone asked him what happen to his forehead. Whenever he ran quickly, I will remind him what is the consequences if he fell.

The photo below was taken on Sunday, the bruise is quite significant now as it turned greenish.

First Time to Night Market

Yesterday evening was the first time my boy went to a night market. Initially, this little cheeky request to walk by himself as my hubby was carrying him. As long as he promised me to hold my hand, I let him to walk as there were so crowded. He started to busy with all kinda stuff displaying on the floor, table and hanging around.

I took this opportunity to do some shopping. I bought my boy 1 pajamas, 3 pants, 1 sun glasses (as requested by my boy) and myself a small knitting outfit. Then we walked further for food, sweet corns, fried chicken, buns and mayung for our dinner.

When I was busy choosing what to have for dinner, my boy said it's dark, he wanna go home and the other reason he told me was "Hot & Noisy" ^_^ hahaha...

While we were on our way home, I asked him wanna go night market again next week. He shook his head and said "nope"

My boy can "write" ?!?!

Are you wondering why I put in the ?!?! at the back? Hahaha... I don't think my little boy know how to write as I don't even teach him the correct way to hold any pencil yet. Cause I think its too small to teach him writing, all he needs now are more on enjoying his time. It may be co-incidence that he wrote the alphabet and number. This was happened on yesterday evening and let's look at what my little boy wrote here ^_^
It was a "5" and "C"
As usual, I was cooking for dinner in the kitchen after worked while my little boy was playing by himself at the living room. He ran, yes, he ran towards the kitchen and say "FIVE, mama, FIVE"

I really have no idea what he was telling me, then he ran back to his small table and show me the small picture above! He wrote "5" and he was so happy that he can wrote the "5" and can't wait to show his mommy about that. Sure I will praise my boy! Hahaha... Fair enough I think, he did a good job! I am not praising him all the while, okay.

After snap a photo of his "5" mainly to tell my boy that mommy will showed it to Papa when he was home. Then I continue with my cooking and my boy continue to play on his small table again.

When I was ready, I called out my boy for dinner and realised that he was sitting in front of his table "day dreaming". I called again, he looked at me and say "C, mama, C" and showed what he wrote.

It was quite amazing for me that my little boy can write these by co-incidence and I think he might be having the same feeling as me. If not, he won't sit there quietly, starring at what he has written.

This recall me that he drew an Apple before as well.

Quickening & Kicking

For my first pregnancy, I felt the quickening on my 5th months of my pregnancy and the feeling was like popcorn popping or butterfly fluttering. Then I started to record down my little boy kicked inside my tummy every night before I slept. Below is one of the video I recorded and this is the first time I share out in youtube.




For my second baby, I started to feel the quickening on my 17th weeks of pregnancy and started to feel the baby kicks on my 19th weeks! It is pretty fast compare to my first pregnancy. I can even see my tummy moved, which cause by the baby kicks! I can feel (his leg maybe) moving from left to right, side to side, up to down!

Apple Lover...

 After a year, my little boy still an Apple Lover... Check-out my post last year here! He likes apples since he was 10 months, even though he didn't has any teeth that time. So we decided to buy a Munchkin Food Feeder for him, in order for him to enjoy his apples, bananas, pears etc.

Once an apple in his hand, he will non-stop asking mommy to cut it for him. He will laugh happily with the cut apple and sat in the high chair until satisfied with the apple.

Our Dating

~Our dating~ Just my little boy and me. YES! We almost go out every weekend nowadays, mostly for breakfast, wet market for some poultry and window shopping in a Mall. I love dating with my little boy! He loves it too, I think. Hahaha....

Whenever we were dating, we will have a light meal together, as I can't really eat much nowadays, but nibble every now and then.

During our dating:-
  • This little boy won't ask mommy to carry him, as he knows mommy can't carry him now.
  • This little boy will sit queitly in the high chair until he finish his meal, until mommy finish hers as well and until mommy settle the bill.
  • This little boy will sit in the trolly while mommy shopping in the grocery.
  • We will share our dessert together, like ice-cream. ^_^

Some time we will wear "mother & son suit" as well.

The Incredible

On Wednesday evening, my boy took out "The Garfield" movie CD (ya, I bought cd, not dvd, that was a few years back) and requested me to turn on the power for him. I was a bit bored with that, he has been watching this movie since 15 months, 7 months and he still likes this movie, "The Garfield" and will watch that once a week.

I opened up the drawer to check was there any other movie to intro for my little boy and I found this, "The Incredible".

Psedornna: "Why don't we watch new movie today? The Incredible?"
My boy: "Okay!" with a smile on his face.

Quite happy that my boy willing to accept new movie. He helped me to put in the DVD, closed the TV rack and sat back on the sofa awaiting for the movie to start. As usual, I will prepare water and some snacks, Cheerios for him while he watched movie. My little KING likes to enjoy his movie with snacks.

Surprisingly, my boy was sitting for the whole movie for about 1 hour and 45 minutes. He will told me what had happened in the movie and asked why why why. YES, he was the one who talked more than I did. Hahaha... I did explain the story for him as well and seems to be understood. He was so concentrated on the movie all way long, especially the Jack Jack. He will shouted "baby" and started to sayang my baby as well. Ya, he is always lovely to me and my baby. (will blog about my boy and my baby soon)

I used to tell story or sing a song to my little boy when he was drinking his milk before sleep every night. But my boy non-stop telling me "The Incredible" story with the teat in his mouth! He can even talk while drinking his milk. He likes the part when the Big Ball (robots) fighting with the Mr Incredible! ^_^

Anyway, love watching movie with my boy, he is no longer a small boy who does not how to enjoy movie. In fact, he likes it. My little boy has grown up......

Hubby's Birthday

Hubby's Birthday was on March, this was a back dated post.

On that day, I left my company on time. After picked up my boy from baby sitter's house, we went to Sunshine Square to buy a small cake. Thought of giving my hubby a surprise when he back home later.

Hubby called me that he will be back a bit late as will be having dinner with his colleagues. Then we just took our dinner and shower and started to snap some photo while awaiting for my hubby, his daddy to come back home. My boy started to pose in front of the cake for me to snap. Then... let's the photo below tells the story ^_^

 I told him we will sing birthday song when Papa was home, he stood up clapping hands and pretended to blow candle ^.^

Mama... I meant just touched. I knew have to wait papa home, no panic. I just try on your response. Muahahaha...

After half an hour of waiting.....
My little boy no more mood to pose and cheeky with mommy. How long we have to wait???


 Finally papa was back!
My little boy blew off the candle for papa and can't wait to cut the cake.
Yeah... I can eat the chocolate now!

In total, I snap 400+ photos that night! Crazy me... Or I should say, we have been waiting for hubby for more than 40 minutes. Hahaha... Anyway, my boy and I like the cake so much as it was coffee flavour! I can say I am the one who finish the cake instead of my hubby! Hehehe...
