My boy can "write" ?!?!

Are you wondering why I put in the ?!?! at the back? Hahaha... I don't think my little boy know how to write as I don't even teach him the correct way to hold any pencil yet. Cause I think its too small to teach him writing, all he needs now are more on enjoying his time. It may be co-incidence that he wrote the alphabet and number. This was happened on yesterday evening and let's look at what my little boy wrote here ^_^
It was a "5" and "C"
As usual, I was cooking for dinner in the kitchen after worked while my little boy was playing by himself at the living room. He ran, yes, he ran towards the kitchen and say "FIVE, mama, FIVE"
me *puzzled*

I really have no idea what he was telling me, then he ran back to his small table and show me the small picture above! He wrote "5" and he was so happy that he can wrote the "5" and can't wait to show his mommy about that. Sure I will praise my boy! Hahaha... Fair enough I think, he did a good job! I am not praising him all the while, okay.

After snap a photo of his "5" mainly to tell my boy that mommy will showed it to Papa when he was home. Then I continue with my cooking and my boy continue to play on his small table again.

When I was ready, I called out my boy for dinner and realised that he was sitting in front of his table "day dreaming". I called again, he looked at me and say "C, mama, C" and showed what he wrote.

It was quite amazing for me that my little boy can write these by co-incidence and I think he might be having the same feeling as me. If not, he won't sit there quietly, starring at what he has written.

This recall me that he drew an Apple before as well.

Quickening & Kicking

For my first pregnancy, I felt the quickening on my 5th months of my pregnancy and the feeling was like popcorn popping or butterfly fluttering. Then I started to record down my little boy kicked inside my tummy every night before I slept. Below is one of the video I recorded and this is the first time I share out in youtube.

For my second baby, I started to feel the quickening on my 17th weeks of pregnancy and started to feel the baby kicks on my 19th weeks! It is pretty fast compare to my first pregnancy. I can even see my tummy moved, which cause by the baby kicks! I can feel (his leg maybe) moving from left to right, side to side, up to down!

Apple Lover...

After a year, my little boy still an Apple Lover... Check-out my post last year here! He likes apples since he was 10 months, even though he didn't has any teeth that time. So we decided to buy a Munchkin Food Feeder for him, in order for him to enjoy his apples, bananas, pears etc.

Once an apple in his hand, he will non-stop asking mommy to cut it for him. He will laugh happily with the cut apple and sat in the high chair until satisfied with the apple.

Our Dating

~Our dating~ Just my little boy and me. YES! We almost go out every weekend nowadays, mostly for breakfast, wet market for some poultry and window shopping in a Mall. I love dating with my little boy! He loves it too, I think. Hahaha....

Whenever we were dating, we will have a light meal together, as I can't really eat much nowadays, but nibble every now and then.

During our dating:-
  • This little boy won't ask mommy to carry him, as he knows mommy can't carry him now.
  • This little boy will sit queitly in the high chair until he finish his meal, until mommy finish hers as well and until mommy settle the bill.
  • This little boy will sit in the trolly while mommy shopping in the grocery.
  • We will share our dessert together, like ice-cream. ^_^

Some time we will wear "mother & son suit" as well.

The Incredible

Image taken from Google search

On Wednesday evening, my boy took out "The Garfield" movie CD (ya, I bought cd, not dvd, that was a few years back) and requested me to turn on the power for him. I was a bit bored with that, he has been watching this movie since 15 months, 7 months and he still likes this movie, "The Garfield" and will watch that once a week.

I opened up the drawer to check was there any other movie to intro for my little boy and I found this, "The Incredible".

Psedornna: "Why don't we watch new movie today? The Incredible?"
My boy: "Okay!" with a smile on his face.

Quite happy that my boy willing to accept new movie. He helped me to put in the DVD, closed the TV rack and sat back on the sofa awaiting for the movie to start. As usual, I will prepare water and some snacks, Cheerios for him while he watched movie. My little KING likes to enjoy his movie with snacks.

Surprisingly, my boy was sitting for the whole movie for about 1 hour and 45 minutes. He will told me what had happened in the movie and asked why why why. YES, he was the one who talked more than I did. Hahaha... I did explain the story for him as well and seems to be understood. He was so concentrated on the movie all way long, especially the Jack Jack. He will shouted "baby" and started to sayang my baby as well. Ya, he is always lovely to me and my baby. (will blog about my boy and my baby soon)

I used to tell story or sing a song to my little boy when he was drinking his milk before sleep every night. But my boy non-stop telling me "The Incredible" story with the teat in his mouth! He can even talk while drinking his milk. He likes the part when the Big Ball (robots) fighting with the Mr Incredible! ^_^

Anyway, love watching movie with my boy, he is no longer a small boy who does not how to enjoy movie. In fact, he likes it. My little boy has grown up......

Hubby's Birthday

Hubby's Birthday was on March, this was a back dated post.

On that day, I left my company on time. After picked up my boy from baby sitter's house, we went to Sunshine Square to buy a small cake. Thought of giving my hubby a surprise when he back home later.

Hubby called me that he will be back a bit late as will be having dinner with his colleagues. Then we just took our dinner and shower and started to snap some photo while awaiting for my hubby, his daddy to come back home. My boy started to pose in front of the cake for me to snap. Then... let's the photo below tells the story ^_^
 Wow... The cake looked yummy...
Mama, chocolate!

Got two Strawberries!
I told him we will sing birthday song when Papa was home, he stood up clapping hands and pretended to blow candle ^.^

Trying to touch on the chocolate and strawberry! Mama was so "gen jiong" and shout "NO"
Mama... I meant just touched. I knew have to wait papa home, no panic. I just try on your response. Muahahaha...

After half an hour of waiting.....
My little boy no more mood to pose and cheeky with mommy. How long we have to wait???

 Finally papa was back!
My little boy blew off the candle for papa and can't wait to cut the cake.
Yeah... I can eat the chocolate now!

Mama, can I try on the cake, please.....
Okay. Mama, I know how to eat by myself.

In total, I snap 400+ photos that night! Crazy me... Or I should say, we have been waiting for hubby for more than 40 minutes. Hahaha... Anyway, my boy and I like the cake so much as it was coffee flavour! I can say I am the one who finish the cake instead of my hubby! Hehehe...

~Vainpot~

My vain boy is back. He started to used my mobile phone to take photo for himself when he was 15 months. (read more here)

Last night, when I was dressing for him after shower. He took out his cap and put on his head. Then, he request me to carry him up, so that he can see how he looked like in the mirror, which is hanged higher than his height. He was so happy and satisfy with his look and said "leng leng" (Beautiful in Cantonese). As I just teach him how to say "leng leng" when he see his mother is pretty. ^,^ Yet to teach him to say "leng chai". Hahaha.... I think I am going to teach him to say this.

After admiring himself for a while, I suggest to snap some photo for him. My little boy, who doesn't like to be taken photo or recorded video recently AGREED. He must be thinking that he looked great with the cap!..... I think!

But... My camera ran out of battery last night! What a co-incidence. Thought of no chances to snap for him. Surprisingly, this little handsome boy went to my hand bag and took out my mobile phone and said "nah!"

I was SWEAT looking at my vain boy! Then he started to pose by putting his hand on the head, pointing to his cheek, smile cheekily...... Most surprisingly, this little boy who not willing to snap photo for the past couple of months, willing stood still in front of my mobile, posing, smile and allow me to snap photo for him!

Definately he would ran towards me to look at the photo after every single shot. ~.~ VAIN!!!!

Anyway, I got some nice photo to share here with you all. Enjoy~~~

Breakfast in the CAR

Every morning, during our way to baby sitter's house, I used to give him a small piece of wholemeal bread to hold and eat by himself if he request to eat bread. If he wanna eat biscuit, he will enjoy himself.

Yesterday morning I tried to give him the sausage bun to hold and eat. I kept reminding him to take a SMALL bite! This little cheeky fella then kept repeating "small bite...small bite" before he bit off the bun. Funny! He likes the sausage so much! Kept saying & showing his hand sign of "GOOD" when chewing the sausage. Hehehe... He can finished one third of the sausage bun when we reached baby sitter's house!

This cheeky boy can't stop playing while eating as well. Both hands were holding the sausage bun, so he used his leg to play with his dog. ~.~

My Boy has Good Observation

This photo was taken on Dec 2010

This photo was taken on Apr 2011

These pictures were taken at the same place on different time. Before December 2010, the advertisement was Nescafe. (picture below, taken from google search).

Wondering why I taken these photos? Hehehehe... All because of my little boy. He was the one who notice the changes of the advertisement. He was the one who informed his mommy about the changes of the advertisement as well.

I can say my little boy has a good observation. He manage to notice every single little changes in his daily life; eg, the carpet, the sofa cushion cover, the home deco etc. Even the advertisement board on the road side during his way going back home.

"Mama... I"

When I was changing for my boy after shower on Sunday evening. He was pointing on the wall saying: "Mama, I"

Then I looked at the wall and I saw this. ^_^

Hahahaha.... My boy is mentioned about the sunlight penetrating through our window!

The kids nowadays really full of imagination and can relate whatever things they see in life to what they have learnt. Even for my boy who is merely 21 months.

I think I should be more hardworking to record down all this.

"Fish Die Die"

My boy: "fish, die die..."

I heard my little boy was saying this to the baby sitter's husband while I went to fetch him last evening. Hahaha....

Baby sitter's husband just back from work by the time I reach their house last evening. Normally, my son will request Uncle (baby sitter's husband) to bring him walk one round before he backs home. After the walk, Auntie remind my boy, "what you wanna tell uncle?" That's why he said the fish die die.

My Boy Loves Mee Goreng

Can this photo to be post as advertisement for "Ibumie Always Mee Goreng"? ^o^

I knew that these instant noodle is not healthy for my little boy, but he just wanna tried and asked for MORE!

This was the second time my boy has this Mee Goreng. I lazy to cook for dinner last night, so I just cook this Mee Goreng after feeding my boy a cup of yogurt. When he saw me holding the bowl, he open his eyes BIG BIG! Looking forward for what was inside the bowl. My boy: "Waoooo...." while I put down my bowl on the coffee table.

He hold my chopstick and started to eat the Mee Goreng all by himself. He is not using the chopstick in a correct way, but manage to hold up some noddle and able to put in his mouth for that. He looked so cute! So I quickly took out my camera and snap some photos for him.

The Mee Goreng is a bit spicy, he will said "lart lart" (spicy in cantonese) in the first few bite and drank water. After a few times, he can continue eating without any water. Not bad huh?

The below pictures were taken continuously when my boy enjoying the Mee Goreng!

21 months + 2 weeks + 2 days

I knew I am getting lazy these days... As I used to update my boy monthly development, but now... Woohoho.... Anyway, herewith some the summarize before I forget... Ya, being forgetful these day, I am having the short-term menory lost ^,^

Physically, he is 10.7kg in weight and 85cm in height. He is active, so gain not much weight since 8 months back.

Mentally he is quite independent now that he will immitate what we do in dairy life and he will do according what we instruct him.

He is systematic. For instance, he will put his shoes nicely and neatlly every time he back home. He will helps his daddy to put back his slipper on the shoe rack. Every morning, he will choose and bring down my shoes for me as well. ~Sweet~ The picture below is how my boy arrange his shoes. Wondering why he likes to put them in this order? but not by pairs? The stool beside is where my boy will sit down and put on his shoes by himself. Yups, he knew to differentiate left and right and put on his shoes all by himself.

He understood everything we said in English and Cantonese. He is not only understood what we said but will response to us accordingly. His response really surprise us some time!

He knows how to shower himself, by pressing the soap, apply all over his body, take the shower, shower himself and take the towel to wipe clean. But I am still beside him to help him shower, as I don't trust he is CLEAN in that way. ^o^

He likes to read book while passing motion. >.< The pictures below were taken on my boy 15 months. He was more chubby that time huh!

He doesn't like dirty. Whenever his hand is wet or dirty, he will request a handky to clean

He likes to eat yogurt and drink yogurt drinks. Most of the weekday evening, I will give him a cup of dutch lady yogurt to enjoy himself. He will eat by himself. If his hands accidentally touched on the yogurt, he will say "mart mart" (clean in cantonese). He will walk into his room, open his closet to take out a handky to clean. Then he will continue enjoying his yogurt. I let him do this all by himself as I need to do the cooking in the kitchen.

Speak development. In his 19 months, he was able to recognize A-Z and speak some of the letters only but he can tell A-Z now. Regarding of numbers, he just able to say 2,3,5,6,8,9,10 &12. His speak/vocabulary boost up these days, where he will say something which out of our expectation.

He can buckle up by himself in the high chair and stroller. Whenever we put him in the high chair (dining outside) and stroller, he will automatically buckle up himself. The picture below was my boy buckle up for his Barney and said "let's go walk walk" and smile at me cheekily. This was the first time I heard him saying: "Let's go walk walk" as well. As he used to say "go go go" / "let's go" / "walk walk" only. He starts to combining all the words he knows.
He like capsicum and vegetable. Another things that surprise me is he likes to eat capsicum uncook! Not everyone can accept the smell and tast of raw capsicum, but my little boy likes holding the capsicum in his hands and chew and ask for more after finishing. He likes vegetables as well, eg brocolli, beans, cabbage.

He enjoys his food very much! Whenever he taste something delicious, he will just sit back, put his hand at the back of his head and chew his food. I am enjoying to dine outside with him as well. I merely need to order the food he likes, put in the spoon and he will feed by himself.

He likes to play the TOM CAT in I-Pad. My sister allows my boy to play with the TOM CAT in her I-pad. My boy learn so fast, he knows how to play and open the app even though at the menu screen. No wonder I-pad is so famous nowadays!

He learns to push stroller. My boy learned to push the stroller in order to push his sibling in future. Hahaha... This was what I told him.

He knew a lot of spelling now. In my previous post, I mentioned about the spelling he knew were - ANT, BOOK, BALL, BOX, BUS, CAR, CAT, COW, DOG, FISH, HAT, EGG, GATE, STAR. Add on with - BEAR, BOAT, BUG, BED, CAKE, DOOR, DUCK, FEET, FROG, HAND, HAIR, LEG, MUG, MOM, SOCK, TOE, ZIP... These are all the words I remember now.

He doesn't like to be taken photo or recorded video. He will use his hand to stop me taking photo and recording video for him now like a celebrities.
He knew how to change his pants now. I haven't buy any pajamas for my boy as I received a lot of them from my sister and sister-in-law. But most of them are quite loose. One morning, my boy told me his pants was loose. I didn't bother him at all as I was busy. Surprisingly he went into his room, open his closet and took out a short pants. He took off the loose pants and put on the short pants himself. Hahaha....

Every kids love playground, so does my little boy. He loves the slide the most. My little boy found his own way playing with the slide. He climb up, slide down, climb up again, slide down again... again and again until he is tired. ^_^

He likes to play rubik. Yet to know how to make the 6 colours but he is good in messing up! Just in a short time, from baby sitter house back to our house, about 25 minutes, he manage to mess up all the colours!

Last but not least, he likes to put on cap. This is what I can remember now and I will update more frequently. ^_^
His face in this picture looked pity huh? Haha... He was requesting to go my sister's house on weekend, but I lazy to go. So he prepare everything, put inside the bag whatever he wannt bring along to my sister's house, with his soft toy, put on his hat, put on his shoes, sit on the stool at the door side and showed me his pity face, awaiting for me to fetch him to my sister's house. @.@

Thanks for reading ^_^

Headache + Tired

Haven update my blog for quite some time ^,^ Tired + Headache... Doctor just advice me to take more rest, nothing can help T_T

Just trying to get more rest and sleep together with my boy. He sleeps around 930pm every night. I will co-sleeping with him then my husband will call me up and back to my room to sleep till morning.

So... I sleep almost 9 hours everyday! But head still spinning.

Luckily my boy is a caring boy. When I told him "mommy headache" He will come to me, saying "hug mama" and gave me a kiss or use his little palm to pat pat my head. It was sooooo sweet to me....

Anyway, hope my headache will subside soon.
