My Boy & My Baby

This week, my boy is 25 months & my baby is 32 weeks... *grin*

Was planning to post this a few months back, but... drag till today... ^_^ hahaha...

Over all I can say my boy love my BB very much! My boy kisses, hugs and "sayang" my BB whenever I lift up my shirt to show him my BIG belly.

He will say:
"Mommy, Bryan touch BB, okay?"
"Bryan kiss BB"
"Bryan hug hug BB"
"Mommy, BB moving! BB kick Mama!"
"BB guai... BB guai (cantonese)"
My boy is so lovely

Since the day I realised that I am pregnant, I started to tell my boy about this good news and I cannot carry him anymore as I am carrying a BB inside mommy tummy. My boy is okay with this and won't ask me to carry him anymore.
Yet he will forget once a while, just after a few second, he will remind himself again, "Bryan walks can, Papa bao (carry) can, Mama bao - cannot, mama belly BIG BIG" ^0^

My boy starts to be more independent after I am pregnant. He is not only doing his own stuff but help me more and more with the house work.

My boy help me to bring in clothes back to his room and my room before I pregnant. Now, he even help me to fold his own handkerchief, bring in clothes, hang clothes in his closet as well. Although the outcome is not perfect for me, as long as long he willing to help out his preggy mommy, I am so happy with his effort.

Its been a habit for me to take a shower for my boy before he goes to the bed every night. Its been a habit for my boy to put his dirty clothes in the laundry basket since 14 months. So, no worries on this.
Now, he will automatically take off his pants by himself as well. But the shirt, still need us to help him up.

He knew how to wipe clean himself after bathing since 18months, so I have no worries on this as well. I can forsee that I can't take shower for him soon, especially during my confinement month. So I let him to take shower by himself and I guide him through by sitting on the toilet bowl.
I am so glad to announce that my boy able to take shower all by himself in 20 months and he does it perfectly! From washing his body, arms, tummy, legs, toes, hair to face. But one thing He still need my help is brushing his teeth.

Meal Time. I can't carry him up to his high chair for meal. So I put a chair beside his high chair and he will climb up himself. I know that this is quite dangerous for him to do it by himself. I have told my boy to do it only with mommy beside you. I observed him so far, if I am not beside him, he will sit on the chair and talk to himself "cannot climb, wait mama, hold mama hands" hehehe...

But... My boy very lazy to eat by himself now. He used to eat by himself but now... he will say "Mommy help please..... Mommy feed Bryan please...."

Laundry. He will automatically do the laundry for his clothes if he sees us do it. Below is the video clip I recorded while he was busying putting in all his dirty clothes into the washing machine. Haha... He is really my good helper.

I really glad that he becomes more independent after I am pregnant. Hope he can help me even more when BB comes to this world. & Hope he will be a good brother as well. ^_^

New Pyjamas

This is the new pyjamas I bought for my boy during his first time to night market last week. Nice? hehehe... I personally like this kinda pyjamas, as it recall my childhood memories!

His face was stunned at the picture above hur? Haha... Photo taken by my hubby, while I was bathing. My hubby told him "don't move" That's why he was stunned there. ^o^

After the snap, this cheeky ran towards my hubby to look at the picture! Herewith the picture...
I think he was not satisfied with his picture and he wanna posed with his doggy, so this little cheeky went to open his toys box to take out his doggy. Posed holding with his doggy and let my hubby snap, snap & snap. Hahaha....
Add on with one more picture of my boy in the carseat, on the way heading to baby sitter's house the next day. I used my mobile to snap this photo without his noticed, as he was enjoying  his biscuit. It was a sunny and dazzling morning, this boy definately will put on his sun glasses!

My boy's Bao Bei

It was around 6am in the morning... and... I heard this...

"mommy... mommy... mommy... help!"

My boy will call me mommy instead of mama when he needs help from me or wanna "deh" (爹) - cantonese. ^_^

I jumped up from my bed and wondering what had happened to my boy early in the morning, and ask for my help?!?!

"mommy... Baobao where??? Baobao where??? Mommy find baobao... plssssssssss"

Hahahahahaha.......... My little boy awaken early in the morning, came down from his single bed, walked from his bedroom to my room IN DARK! Yes, very dark! Because he couldn't find his baobao! I can't see clearly that time, blur blur, just woke up mah, some more so DARK. But I can't stop myself laughing at my little boy...

Then, my boy hold my hand and lead me to his room and request me to look for his baobao for him. Hahahaha.... ^o^

After I passed him the baobao, he request to drink milk and wanna sleep in my bed with me. Sure I allowed him to do so lar... After finishing his milk, he was fall asleep again.

I can't really sleep after awaken, just kept looking at my little boy sleep. I realise that he really a happy boy. Just the time he has asleep, I can see he was grinning. After a while, he smile again. Ya, this will be one of my habit after he is born, I like to see him sleeping. This is a sweet moment for me to look at his chubby face while sleeping.

Mmmm... Durian!!!

I LOVE Durian very much! Especially those white color, bitter & with liquor flavour durian! I can't resist to buy them home to eat even I am pregnant now! Muahahaha....

A few days back, BB sitter gave me some durians when I fetched my boy after worked. I can't wait for my hubby back home to open it and I tried with my clumsy preggy body. Before cut off the durian, I snapped some photo with one of the durian and my boy.

This was my boy trying to touch durian, and this little boy will kept reminding himself "poke finger, B careful" ^o^

Then he was trying to smell the durian.

Then he kept away from the durian due to the smell. In fact, this was not the first time my boy came across "durian". He doesn't like to eat and say durian is "smelly". When we ask him to eat, he will say "don't want, Mama eat... Mama eat"  ^o^

When I got ready to cut open the durian in the kitchen, my *SWEET* little boy took the small stool for me and said "Mama cannot sit (on the) floor, sit stool... Mama sit down" hehehe.... My boy so caring and  SWEET^.^

After that, he ran to the living room again, back to kitchen with his chair and sat beside to see how mommy going to cut open the durian.

Deng Deng Deng Deng..... Here there are! Mmmm.... Yummy Yummy.... Thanks Uncle & Aunty!

Mommy Worries

I am glad that my boy has a good manners, on the other hand, I am worry about him of being bully by other kids.

WHY I SAID SO???

My boy was food allergy last weekend and we were in Hospital to get some medicine from the doctor. Quite a numbers of patients on Sunday, we waited for more than an hour before our turn. While we were waiting for our turn, my boy was playing with some toys and the slide.

I used to complaint about the rudeness of my boy when playing with his toys. But at the moment I saw him playing with others toddlers / kids, I realised that he is the most gentle one.

First, he will asked my permission to play. Then as usual, he will take a stool to sit down and play and take another stool for me to sit beside him. There was not enough stools for the toddlers there, so I told my boy to give the stool to other toddlers, and he did so. He played the toys in front of him and will not disturb others. He will stared at the toys if he was interested on the toys other toddlers were playing, he dare not to grab it from others. BUT... others did that to him and he felt so surprise on the toddler's attitude. Luckily I am able to distract him from the toys.

Slide. Whenever we go to playground, I will keep remind my boy about "follow the Q", "wait" & "take turn". He will follow the Q, wait for his turn to slide down. This little boy will kept saying "Bryan wait" & "Bryan takes turn". Same incident happened, where not all the kids in good manners, they cut the Q, push other toddlers etc... My poor boy just stood behind and wait for his turn. In fact, not much chances for him to slide unless no one was at the slide. Then only my boy said "hah, Bryan turn. Up... Up... Up... Sit down... slideeeeee"

I won't blame or angry at other toddlers who were not having good manners, they need to be educate. As a parent, you should advice your toddlers, even kids not to do so and so to younger toddler! But, the parents just sit there seems to be nothing happen??? I didn't know that they are the parents, till they called their kids when it was their turn to see Dr!

Even my 2 years old little boy knows what he should do and what he shouldn't do. There was a little girl about 15 months, my boy will gave his turn to the little girl and hold the little girl hands when she climbing up the steps. When the girl fell down, my boy will "sayang" her as well. How about your 6 years old (I guess) pre-schooler? Not saying to help others, but not hurting younger toddlers will helps a lot. As a parents, the father was focusing on the laptop and the mother was focusing on the phone. I think your kids need you more than those devices!

On the other hand, I am worry about my boy if he enroll to kindergarden soon. Before I have a baby, I planned to send my boy to kindergarden at 3 years old. As everyone doing so in Penang and blame that the kids can't follow up with the sllabus if you send them in at 4 years old. I knew some parents even send their toddlers to school at 1.5 years old!

Yet, after Bryan 18 months, I decided to teach him all by myself and only send him in after 3.5 years old. Will see how in future. As I feel that he learns quite fast and he can concentrate well on the new things we teach him. For instance, my 2 years old boy knew A to Z & 1 to 14 by 20 months. The vocabulary that he understood is more than what we expect too.

I will be glad if any bloggers/readers can provide me some of the teaching tools for 3 years old here. OR do you know what the kindergarden teach those 3 years old toddlers?

So that I can do it at home with my boy without sending him to the kindergarden before 3.5 / 4 years old.
