Browse through the photos in my hard disc and found this firework picture, which I shot on the 8^th day of Chinese New Year.

I am a FAILURE

I am not a good mommy; I didn’t take care of my son well. :(

Watched the entire video I recorded for Bryan since he was born till now. 9 months plus with 535 video clips in total. I do not think it is a lot as all the parents are doing the same as I do.

Spent whole day watching the video; from laying on his bed kicking his little leg till he is climbing up to the sofa this morning. Felt he changed a lot since the day he was born in the sense of “mobility”. Yet, he still wearing the same T-shirt this morning where he wore it on his 4 months -.-“’

The photo on the left was captured on one of his video when he was crying badly. I recorded the video for about 3 minutes; it meant he cried for 3 minutes! I thought that he cried in order want me to carry him to walk around. Finally I found out that he was hungry and cried for milk.

Failure me! Starve my son more than 30 minutes before I prepared the milk for him. This was not happened once! But a few times! Starved him and wet him T_T

Bryan is such a loving baby, he seldom fuss and never cried for carry. He just cried for milk and after urinated or poop. I can surf the net by laying him on the mattress; he would play himself or play with his playmate without disturbing me unless he needed my help.

I am not good enough. I shall study more about taking care of babies. I should not wait till I face a problem. Claiming that I have no time of doing this.

Bryan, mommy promise you will be a good mommy and you have to be a GOOD boy too.

9 months Development

Milestones this month*

Your baby now can pull himself up to a standing position from sitting down.

Checked. Bryan managed to stand up and sit down steadily since he was 8 months. Watch this =)

He can stand while holding on to someone or something.

Checked. Bryan likes to stand up by holding my legs from my back, peek from behind and smile cheekily.

Baby uses the "pincer grasp" holding tiny objects between his thumb and forefinger.

Checked. Watch this video and you will know how great he is using his thumb and forefinger. The video was recorded when he was 8 months.

He can walk while holding onto furniture.

Checked. Just 2 steps.

Baby drinks from a cup.

Checked. Bryan likes to drink from a cup. I didn’t use the milk bottle at all since he was 6 months plus. As I direct nurse him and he drink water either from his sipping cup or a cup.

He can stand alone for a few seconds or perhaps longer.

Checked. I am not sure how long he can stand alone but at least longer than before (when he was 8 months) :p…

Baby says "mama" or "dada."

Checked. Bryan calls “mama” PERFECTLY! Which I felt so happy of this ^_^ He say "meh meh" too!

He understands the meaning of "no."

Checked. He acted same as he was 8 months. I need to say it at least 3 times! As he will attempt to do it to see your response.

Baby responds to simple commands (such as "Give Mommy the toy").

Not really make it, depends on his mood :p…

New Walker

We bought a new walker for Bryan last week. WHY? This monster baby spoilt his walker, which was given by his Yee Yee. Seeing that he will not be using the walker soon, we went to Tesco and bought a cheap cheap walker for him.

We felt regretted after we bought it. It is too small for him, where he can bend down his body and reach the floor. We failed to fasten the seat securely as well. After Bryan walk around the house in few minutes, we found that the seat was unfasten and he was crawling on the floor. Urghhh….

This was the first time I attached the toy bar for him. Look at my Monster Boy here. It was removed on the next day. *sweat*
